I started writing this song out of frustration for having to zig and zag so many different ways to keep the lantern of art inside me burning despite having to transform from singer songwriter to stage and theater performer to silver screen actor just to either make ends meet and or to not see another dream snuffed out by the bullet of time. When emergence takes too long, sometimes the fire just fades and you can no longer see what used to be so blindingly clear. Bearing in mind that every advantage has its tax, these can be awesome problems to have and I have been very blessed on my journey but it's taken me years to overstand what the path really is and that the source of the pleasure and pain is within. Relationships suffer the brunt of the burn and triggers get pulled with no real intention to kill but before you realize what has happened, you are alone, again and with only yourself to blame. I think we all want love but at what cost. The toll troll awaits.
